    Vision Booster II autonomous and intelligent camera

Based on CMOS captors, Virtex FPGA and Freescale DSP, this open architecture camera introduces the concept of a standard product with two independently rotating "eyes" for industrial control applications. Captors can be matrix or linear, color or monochrome. Wired processings are performed by a Virtex FPGA (histogram , input and output LUTs, various filters and other algorithms configurable in real-time. The DSP provides to the Vision Booster II camera local intelligence and extra computation power. The opto-isolated input/outputs, an optional USB interface and  2 serial ports provide a large communication palette permitting easy integration in an industrial environment.
The algorithms implanted in the Virtex FPGA are customizable.

        Developped according to a schedule of conditions, this board uses a CCD captor selected for its electrical designs making possible running at very low temperatures. 

A Spartan-II (2S50 TQ144) Xilinx FPGA carries out timings (synchros CCIR) and interfaces functions  with board and outside elements.
   
           
    Three-dimensional control and measuring device for industrial applications, using the triangulation principle. Total production of the electronic boards. Three-dimensional image processing algorithms implemented by DSP processors, and a Xilnx FPGA, XC4000 family.    
           
    Device for measuring  the speed and direction of a ball for a golf simulator : Based on the use of two sets  of 2560 pixels linear cameras, this device determines, with high precision, speed and trajectory of a golf ball. The data calculations, performed in real time by a FPGA and affined by Analog Devices DSP, are transmitted to the central unit. This central unit is responsible for synthesizing images which will reconstruct ball trajectory in a virtual environment, projected on a giant screen.    
           
    Image processing device for tracking defects in the textile industry. For this application, a specialized DSP was implemented into a Xilinx FPGA.    
           
    Various controllers for flat screens in TFT and DSTN technology in color for industrial applications. Analogic VGA, SVGA interfaces and multi-standards composite video (PAL, SECAM, NTSC, Y/C) for the screens.    
           
    Different ASICs prototypes for civil and military applications :
Performed in Xilinx  FPGA, these prototypes were set on boards specially designed for this purpose, thus enabling the development of ASICs on model, in order to reduce  the simulation time and to carry out an exhaustive test on the most sensitive parts of designs.
   
           
    Electronic control for ink-jet print heads : applications for graphic printing on industrial packagings. Electronic device based on the use of a 16-bit micro-controller, and a SPARTAN XL FPGA accepting several configurations according to the print heads used.    
           
    Medical imaging device with USB interface : Equipped with two cameras using the latest CMOS captors, images are captured in a SDRAM memory controlled by a Spartan II FPGA, before being transferred to a PC through a USB port.
