1) Xilinx FPGA 

Our staff can develop cabled processing inserted into video set, which will result in nearly no delay. 
MVD set up a functions library such as  :

  • Video standard generation (CCIR, STANAG, VESA)
  • SDRAM controler for video buffers checking
  • Change of color space
  • Outlines detection
  • Mono and bi-dimensional FIR filters

Acknowledgment of our know-how permits MVD to publish different articles in Xilinx XCELL magazine and other specialized journals, such as "Electronique" magazine. Among the newest publications :

  • Implementation of real time histogram  ( 125 kB)
  • 9x9 200 Mpix/sec real time convolution on VIRTEX-II architecture


Among our developments, we can quote 32 and 64 bits PCI boards permitting to acquire and process images in real time
, at a 100 MB/sec pixel frequency.

Xilinx FPGA architectures allow very efficient implementation of DSP functions Cores such as : FIR filters, MAC, FFT, providing unprecedented level of performance.

FPGA/DSP is often used in signal processing application. MVD engineers use the best of each technology to determine cabled and software implemented processing, according to carrying-out speed requirement,  costs and other important parameters to considered design. Acquisition system

Mainly conceived around CMOS sensors (Photobit, Kodak), MVD develops cameras whose sensors permit cheap solutions and small size conceptions.

MVD also proposes a flash for in one-shot video image acquisition.

MVD proposes serial transmission systems development for one or more digital videos on LVDS pairs. This system makes possible a simultaneous transmission of 2 videos set, their common clock and respective synchronization signals on 2 LVDS pairs
