      PowerPC Architecture    
          MVD has signed up partner agreements with IBM, FREESCALE and AMCC to propose microprocessors and micro controllers trainings.

With the increase of functionalities on 16/32-bit RISC microprocessors and micro controllers, today's development engineers face new challenges that combine new technologies skills learning and time-to-market reduction. Our education offering contributes to accelerate the learning curve for using a new processor.
 
       
        Logo Freescale MVD proposes Freescale approved courses on implementing the PowerPC and PowerQUICC families including the MPC5554and the PowerQUICCIII.
These courses can be completed with interconnect architecture courses such as RapidIO or PCI, PCI-X buses.

        Logo Freescale n 2004, AMCC completed the acquisition of certain assets and licensed certain IP associated with the IBM PowerPC 4XX system-on-a-chip product line. The PowerPC 400 series product line delivers performance and a rich mix of features for Internet, communication, data storage, consumer and imaging applications. AMCC will market, supply, and support this product line.
MVD offers trainings for any AMCC processors based on a PowerPC core.

      ARM Architecture    
           
        Logo ARM MVD is the ARM official training centre for France and the French speaking countries, and provides courses on hardware,
software and system design on the ARM processors. These courses address ASIC developers as well as developers wanting
to use ARM-based microcontrolllers ( from Freescale, Atmel, Samsung, Philips, OKI, Cirrus Logic etc.).

Technologies such as ARM7(tm)ARM9(tm), Thumb (tm) et AMBA (tm) are detailed in the courses. Practical illustrations are performed during the training using the ARM development tools ( boards, application development environment)

      Embedded Software    
          Real-time software or embedded software development requires some knowledge of the hardware platform on which the software runs as well as the appropriate skill of the software components from the marketplace that might be used in the final product (run-time) and as development tools. Software trainings come in addition to FPGA, microprocessors and bus trainings to provide a broader knowledge to facilitate systems design.

          C language for embedded and real-time applications

The C language is widely used in the computer industry, but needs particular knowledge when applied to Embedded or Real-time applications. These applications are hardware target specific.

These courses focus on implementing this well known operating system on embedded hardware, by covering the low level software layers (device drivers, BSP) or on its real-time applications aspects.

    Digital Buses    
        Digital systems frequently include standard communication buses. The training courses are aimed for development engineers wanting know their fundamentals and understand their operation.

MVD provides trainings on PCI, PCI-X, CompactPCI, VME, IEEE 1394, CAN, and USB as well as the RapidIO, HyperTransport and PCI Expressinterconnect architectures.

MVD is a Jungo's softwares reseller. The USB training is thus an excellent means to discover the bus and to familiarize yourself with the WinDriver tools.

An 'Architectures and Comparative Analysis' course on high throughput interconnection systems visits existing and future technologies. This course is recommended to system designers and architects interested in the new standards.
