Vision-Booster II - Digital smart camera
 
      The integrated intelligent camera "Vision-Booster II", is designed for image processing applications in industrial environment.

"Vision-Booster II" combines several technologies :
  • CMOS sensors for images capture,
  • FPGA programmable components  for video flux processing in real time,
  • DSP (digital signal processors) for image processing and decision taking.

Linked to a color sensor, "Vision-Booster II" provide a real time process of your colored applications.

      Two independent sensors can be connected to only one system of control. 

Through its technical characteristics and possibilities of adaptation to specific needs, this concept is , both in cost and performance, the best suited device to your industrial control applications.

A single 12V power supply for the camera and its lighting flash will make easier integration into all your production sites.

Vision Booster II can be either equipped with monochrome or color sensor according to the kind of application. 

The acquisition triggering is synchronized either by external cell or incremental coding signal..
The triggering of a synchronized flash during acquisitions allows objects control during scroll and will ensure control independence to ambient lightings.

    Algorithms and Processing

Programming adaptability of FPGA and DSP components ensure personalization of processing carried out, according to considered applications, linked to optimization of execution time. 
   
           
    Memory capacity

FPGA controls a 8 million pixel image memory implanted into a SDRAM component, making possible a storage of 16 images at 640x480 format.

DSP is equipped with a 1 M octets FLASH memory  for memorizing of FPGA program and application software.
   
           
    Visualization
  • 1 analog VGA 640x480 - 72 Hz output,
  • 1 touch panel control.

A 32 colors graphic layer can be visualized in overprinting.
